Clear Choice Clinic was established as a community resource in 2007, offering pregnancy testing, limited ultrasound, and options education for women. In 2012, STD testing and treatment was added to the scope of services, expanding care to include both women and men. Since 2007, Clear Choice Clinic has provided care to over 4,100 men and women, with positive exit reviews from over 99% of patients surveyed.

STDs
It is estimated that there are 20 million new STDs in the U.S. each year, and half of these are among young people ages 15 to 24 years. Across the nation, at any given time, there are more than 110 million total (new and existing) infections. These infections can lead to long-term health consequences, such as infertility; they can facilitate HIV transmission; and they have stigmatized entire subgroups of Americans.
If you think you have been exposed to a sexually transmitted disease, it is important to get tested. Some common symptoms of STDs include unusual odor, discharge from the vagina or penis, burning during urination and sores on the genitals. However, many STDs do not cause any symptoms and it is possible to spread these diseases and infections without ever having symptoms.
At Clear Choice Clinic there is never a fee for your office visit. Treatment for some STDs is offered without expense to the patient, while referrals for other treatment may be necessary.
